Disgruntled NCP activists go on rampage
Pune, Jan 15 (UNI) A few Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) workers allegedly went on the rampage and damaged furniture in the party office here, following the denial of a party ticket to their leader Sachin Dodge for the February one municipal corporation elections.
Dodge and around ten of his supporters stormed into the party office and damaged the furniture and hurled abuses at the office-bearers, angry at being denied a ticket.
Police rounded up around ten persons but all of them were later released.
