Cold wave continues
Jaipur, Jan 16: The cold wave continued in the state though some places got a reprieve with the minimum temperature moving upward by a few degree.
Pilani in Jhunjhunu district was the coldest place in the state at three degrees celsius while Churu and Ganganagar closely followed at 3.8 degree celsius.
According to the weather office the state capital Jaipur reported six degree celsius, Dholpur five, Udaipur 7.3, Bharatpur 7.2, Barmer eight Jhalawar and Kota 9.6, Sawai Madhopur 8.2, Ajmer 10.1, Jaisalmer 9.2, Jodhpur 10.3 and Bikaneer 10.5 degree ceslius.
The weather office forecast the continuance of the cold wave while some places, may witness ground frost.
