According to BSF sources, a large number of Bangladeshi nationals crossed over to the Indian side with invalid documents to participate in the Makarsankranti festival at Tirthmukh this year.

The jawans intercepted and apprehended 102 Bangladeshis, including 17 women and eight children, for violating the international law.
