BJP demonstrates over bad law and order in UP

Lucknow, Jan 16 (UNI) BJP activists today held a demonstration here to protest bad law and order situation and to highlight the failures of the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh.

The demonstration was part of the BJP state-wide agitation.

In the state capital, the demonstration was led by Leader of the Opposition in the assembly Lalji Tandon.

The agitational programme was held near the collectrate where the BJP leaders charged the Samajwadi Party-led government in UP with ''pushing the people towards miseries.'' Addressing party workers, Mr Tandon said people want the present government to go at the earliest and predicted that the BJP future is bright, as people are vocal in their support for the party.

BJP had launched the demonstration yesterday in the district headquarters to highlight the failures of the state government.
