Bijapur records lowest temperature of 11.5 degree celsius

Bangalore, Jan 16 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State. Minimum temperatures rose at many places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were below normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka; however above normal at a few a places over South Interior Karnataka and normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 11.5 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Mainly clear sky. Minimum temperature would be around 17 degree Celsius.
