Bajaj Auto Q3 net rises to Rs 345.19 crore

Mumbai, Jan 16 (UNI) Bajaj Auto Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 345.19 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 278.99 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Announcing the results today, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2,107.32 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 2,729.18 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

As per the Consolidated Results, the Group has posted an income attributable to consolidated group of Rs 328.35 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 253.98 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Net income has increased from Rs 2,080.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 2,696.03 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
