Aztecsoft Revenue up by 35pc on year-on-year basis
Bangalore, Jan 16: Aztecsoft Limited (Aztecsoft) has posted its highest ever quarter revenues of Rs. 71.34 crores and net profit of Rs. 11.15 crores on consolidated basis during the quarter three of the current fiscal The company announcing the results for the quarter in a release said the sequential growth was 5.04 per cent in revenues in Rupee term. It continued strong customer acquisition with 11 new clients added in this quarter.
The consolidated revenues for QIII-07 of Rs. 71.34 crores grew by 35 per cent over the corresponding quarter of the previous year QIII-06 at Rs. 52.98 crores. The net profits (PAT) of Rs. 11.15 crores grew by 12 per cent over the corresponding quarter of the previous year QIII-06 of Rs.9.96 crores.
The consolidated revenues of Rs. 71.34 crores have grown sequentially by 5 per cent in comparison to Rs 67.92 crores. In US Dollar terms, Revenues grew by 8.57 per cent.
- During the current quarter, Aztecsoft's biggest assets namely its human capital stood at 2,682 compared to 2,643 at the end of QII-07.
Aztecsoft's scalable and multiple-award winning HR practices and great work environment has made it relatively easy to hire and retain talent. Attrition continues to be under control and below with industry norms as a recent study done by Data Quest-IDC Best Employers Award 2006. Manpower utilization is at 75 per cent (excluding campus/trainees recruits) and at 67 per cent after considering campus/trainees recruits.
Aztecsoft's offshore focus continued to pay off and revenues for the quarter from offshore are at 83 per cent Company chairman K B Chandrasekhar commenting on the performance said "Overall, we remain very confident about our business. We are consolidating our operations with expansion of the talent pool as well as additional investments in sales and marketing. These will help us to scale greater heights in this large growing market"
