Aviation training academy to be set up in MP
Khajuraho(MP), Jan 16 (UNI) A Malaysian industrialist will set up an aviation training academy in Madhya Pradesh.
Mr Pakal Shetty signed a MoU in this regard with the Madhya Pradesh State Industries Development Corporation (MPSIDC) Managing Director Praveen Garg in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the onset of the two-day 'Investors Meet-2007' here today.
MoUs for investment of about Rs 1,000 crore were signed within few hours of the formal start of the meet, in which about 125 entrepreneurs and NRIs have turned up in this tourist destination, the erstwhile capital of the Chandela rulers, who built up a group of temples known for erotic sculptures.
Besides, MoUs were signed between the MPSIDC and Abhishek Industries Managing Director Rajendra Gupta for Rs 963 crore textile project in Budhni, Mumbai-based Dawat Group for production of Basmati rice in Hoshangabad and nearby areas and Net Link Software's Anurag Srivastava for Rs 60 crore project.
Mr Gupta said the textile project would generate 2,000 job opportunities, while Mr Srivastava said 1,000 people would get employment from the software project.
