Andhra Varsity to hold English practical exams

Visakhapatnam, Jan 16 (UNI) The Andhra University today said it will conduct computer-based english language practical examination for the second consecutive year in association with Edutech.

Speaking to the media here, Varsity Vice Chancellor L Venugopal Reddy said first and second year degree students numbering one lakh would take up the test which would help students keep pace with the needs of the IT and ITeS Industry which was now witnessing exponential growth.

The university had tied up with Edutech India Pvt Ltd, a leading provider of technology based learing and assessment solutions, to conduct the test.

In the competitive employment scenario, possessing excellent had become vital for students to maintain an edge.

The AP State Council of Higher Education was also responding positively to assessing and improving language skills among the undergraduates in the university, he added.
