51 including 30 Indian cross LoC, 19 reach
Jammu, Jan 16: As many as 30 Indians from Jammu and Kashmir leftfor Pakistani-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to meet their parted relativesafter more than half a century via Chakkan-Da-Bagh crossing point inPoonch district, official souerces said here today.
Fifty-one civilians crossed over to PoK yesterday from Poonchincluding 30 visiting PoK for the first time from this part of theState to meet their relatives and 21 PoK citizens who returned to theirhouses after their stay here.
Forty-six civilians came to this side from PoK including 19freshers and 27 citizens of this side who returned from PoK aftermeeting their relatives in that part of the State, sources added.
One Indian citizen Haji Abdul Razak Zoo (65) son of Fateh Zoo, aresident of Poonch had died due to cardiac arrest in Katli. Zoo hadgone to Kotli to meet his divided family members along with his sonMohd Ismayil.
His body was also brought to this side by PoK authorities. PoK'sMinister for Food and Supplies Abdul Wahid accompanied the dead bodyupto Chakkan-Da-Bagh. The last rite to be paid at his village.
