4-day Army weapons exhibition in Vadodara from Jan 18
Vadodara, Jan 16 (UNI) The Indian Army will showcase its might in an exhibition of its all infantry weapons and equipment, to be held here from January 18.
Briefing newsmen today, Brig. Rajesh Arya said the four-day exhibition, the fourth in a row in Gujarat, was aimed at creating awareness and inspiration among the people, particularly the youths of the state, to join the Indian Army.
The exhibition, to be held in cooperation with the civil authorities, will be inaugurated by Gujarat minister of state for home Amit Shah at the Ansuya Leprosy Hospital ground in the presence of General Officer Commanding Majod General P G Kamath.
Brig. Arya said besides all infantry weapons, the exhibition would put on display tanks, anti-tank guided missile platform, artillery guns, modern radar system, AK-47 rifle, RDX and weapons seized by Gujarat police from terrorists.
