Rs 2 cr aid for devp of Navagraha Teertha: Yediyurappa
Hubli, Jan 16: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa hasannounced a financial aid of two crore rupees for the allrounddevelopment of Navagraha Teertha, a pilgrimage centre on the outskirtsof the city.
Speaking at the inaugural of the 11-day mahamastakabhisheka of61-ft monolith statue of Bhagwan Parshwanath and eight otherteerthankaras at Navagraha Teertha, yesterday he assured of all help tobring Navagraha Teertha on the international tourist map.
The Deputy Chief Minister also assured that he would personallyspeak to the Chief Minister and initiate action to withdraw the orderfor providing eggs to school children in their mid-day meal.
