2 killed 4 injured as bus hits motorcycles

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 16 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and four injured when a private bus hit three motorcycles near a culvert on the Lalgudi-Dalmiapuram road near here today.

Police said the deceased K Bhaskar (35), a supervisor in the state-owned TASMAC and his friends were proceeding to Dalmiapuram in three motorcycles, when the mishap occurred.

While Bhaskar and Selvan (24), riding on a bike were crushed to death, four of their friends in two motorcyles were injured. They were admitted to the Government Headquarters hospital here, police said.
