Youth arrested for trying to murder neighbour, 2 others absconding

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The Delhi Police today arrested a person for attempting to kill a 50-year-old person by setting him afire after pouring kerosene in Bhajanpura area of North Delhi.

Rinku Jain arrested by the police for trying to kill his neighbour Bashir Ahmed, engaged in manufacture of embroidery work in North Bhajan Pura, while two of his other associates were absconding, said the police.

The arrest came after the Police recieved a complaint this morning of the attempt by the youths to kill Bashir over some monetary dispute.

Bashir, who sourced some raw material for his emboidery works from Rinku's father N C Jain, was this morning admitted to GTB hispital with serious burn injuries. On interrogation, he told the police that Rinku tried to kill him by pouring kerosene over him.
