Tribal development officer lands in ACB net

Nashik, Jan 15 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today raided the residential places and offices of a Tribal Development Corporation project officer, Babban Patil, and claimed to have detected unaccounted wealth valued at a few lakh of rupees.

The raids were conducted simultaneously at the residential places and offices located in Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Pune, and Kalwan, ACB sources said here today.

The raids were conducted after the ACB received a tip off that Patil had collected huge assets, disproportionate to his known sources of income. He was in government service since 1992.
