Tata Telecom launches online store for mobile connections, I-Choose

Mumbai, Jan 15 (UNI) Making its foray into online trading, Tata Indicom, a part of Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) today launched an online store 'I-Choose' for mobile connections.

Meant for the post-paid mobile connection subscribers of the company initially, the customers can get the cellphone connections at a click of the mouse with an upfront commitment of activation and free delivery of handset within three working days. Some of the offers made by the Company under the new initiative include choosing wide range of Tata Indicom handsets, tariff plans and value added services. The service can be accessed at http//www.ichoose.com.

TTSL's Chief Executive Officer, Darryl Green, said ''As we move into the year of broadband, we want to take the lead by being the first service provider to introduce an online retail channel and offer our customers the convenience of buying mobile connections at the click of a mouse.'' However, he added that soon the service would be extended for the pre-paid customers of the company too. The e-shop 'I-Choose' is currently available across the 18 circles of the company and will be live in Mumbai and RoM shortly.

Later replying to a media query, he hoped that his company may cross the turnover of USD one billion by March-end.'' UNI
