Stern action against improper implementation BPL schemes:Singh

Ranchi, Jan 15 (UNI) Jharkhnad Food, Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister Kamlesh Kumar Singh today said stern action would be taken against the officials found guilty in proper implementation of social security schemes.

Directing the officials in a state-level review meeting of the department, Mr Singh said the foodgrains as mentioned in the social security should be distributed properly to the people living below poverty line.

Expressing concern over the status of Annapurna scheme in Gumla, Lohardega, Giridih, Chatra, Pakur and Deoghar, Mr Singh directed the manager of state food corporation of these districts to ensure cent per cent distribution of foodgrains.
