Prime Minister to arrive here tonight

Kolkata, Jan 15 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrives here tonight on a two day visit to the city but without any major pragramme to attend.

Mr Singh is coming from Cebu in Phillipines, where he had gone to attend the ASEAN summit. Immediately after his arrival he would drive to the Raj Bhawan for a night halt, official sources said.

Tomorrow morning he would leave for Dibrugarh in Asom from where he is scheduled to go back to New Delhi.

According to official sources, though the Prime Minister is not having any official engagement in the city during his overnight stay, all steps had been taken to ensure full proof security on his way from the airport to the Raj Bhawan and back.
