PM leaves for Kolkata

Cebu, Jan 15 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left here today for Kolkata after a three-day stay during which he attended the 5th India-ASEAN Summit and the 2nd East Asia Summit (EAS).

During his visit to this central Philippines island, Dr Singh also held bilateral meetings with leaders of China, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The Prime Minister will spend the night in Kolkata before visiting the violence-hit areas of Asom tomorrow.
