Mishaps kill 5 pilgrims

Sagar, MP, Jan 15 (UNI) Five pilgrims have been killed and several injured in separate accidents in this district while heading for holy dips in the Narmada on Makar Sankranti, sources said.

Dayaram, Babloo and Sewak died while more than a dozen were hurt last night after a tractor-trolley overturned on National Highway 26. Four victims were admitted to the district hospital.

Another tractor-trolley from Raisen district overturned near the Japunia bridge killing Pipria Pathak village's Tara Bai and Leela Bai. Ten injured persons were admitted to the district hospital.
