Minor administrative changes in MP

Bhopal, Jan 15 (UNI) In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government promoted some Indian Administrative Service officers of the 1991 batch, official sources said today.

Director (Institutional Finance) and ex-officio Additional Secretary (Finance) Ashok Kumar Varnwal became ex-officio Secretary (Finance).

Chairman-cum-Managing Director (Western Region Power Distribution Company) Pramod Agrawal and MD (Textbooks Corporation) Satish Chandra Mishra were made equivalent in rank to the Divisional Commissioner.

Director (Narmada Valley Development Authority) Vishwa Mohan Upadhyay was posted as Commissioner (Rehabilitation) and ex-officio Secretary (Revenue, Religious Trusts and Endowments).

Director (Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation) M K Varshney, who is holding the additional charge of MD (State Road Transport Corporation), will now be equivalent in rank to the Divisional Commissioner while Additional Secretary Sudha Chaudhry was promoted to Secretary.

Commissioner (Rehabilitation) and ex-officio Principal Secretary (Revenue, Rehabilitation, Religious Trusts and Endowments) Pukhraj Maru was shifted as Commissioner (Relief) and ex-officio Principal Secretary (Revenue, Rehabilitation, Religious Trusts and Endowments).

Secretary (Revenue, Religious Trusts and Endowments) Rashmi Shukla was moved as MD (Women's Economic Development Corporation) and she will be equivalent to Divisional Commissioner.

Collector (Badwani) Arun Tiwari and Collector (Bhopal) S K Mishra will now be in the payscale of Secretary and Additional Secretary respectively.
