Life in prison for seven in murder case

Hajipur, Jan 15 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to seven members of a family in connection with a murder case.

District and Sessions Judge P K Jha sentenced all the accused to rigorous life imprisonment after they were found guilty in the case.

According to the FIR, all the convicts lynched one Shyam Babu Mahto following an altercation over land dispute at Jathua village under Town police station in Vaishali district on November 24, 1997.
