IPCL Q3 net profit up at 40.13 pc
New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL) today said the company had a net profit of 40.13 per cent at Rs 405 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as against Rs 289 crore for same period last year.
The total income has increased from Rs 2836 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 3130 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 at 9.39 per cent.

Mukesh
Ambani
said,''I

pleased
with
IPCL's
performance
in
the
third
quarter.
Despite
a
challenging
environment,
improvement
in
performance
was
achieved
primarily
through
better
productivity
and
reduction
in
costs,
thereby
enhancing
value
for
our
shareholders.''
