Ibobi Singh to contest from two Manipur Assembly seats
New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh will fight the February 8 Assembly elections from Thoubal and Khangabok constituencies.
According to a list of 19 candidates released by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) here today, the other party nominees are Dr Maniruddin Shaikh from Lilong, K Meghachandra Singh from Wangkhem, M Okendra from Heirok, M Hemanta Singh from Wangjing Tentha, Haji Abdul Salam from Wagbai, Y Surchandra Singh from Kakching, E Dwijamani Singh from Hiyanglam, K Ranjit Singh from Sugnoo, Victor Keishing from Phungyar(ST), Aleng Shimrah from Ukhrul(ST), A Aza from Chingai(ST), Chungkhokai Doungel from Saikul(ST), D D Thaisii from Karong(ST), R K Thekho from Mao(ST), Francis Ngajokpa from Tadubi(ST), Haokholal Hangshing from Kangpokpi and Ngamthang Haokip from Saitu(ST) constituencies respectively.
