HPCL sells 50KT for Jan-Feb

SINGAPORE, Jan 15 (Reuters) Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) has sold 50,000 tonnes of 88-octane Euro 2 gasoline cargoes for January and February loading via a spot tender, a trading source said on Monday.

HPCL sold one 25,000-tonne cargo for Jan. 20-22 loading and another 25,000-tonne for Feb. 11-13 loading to European trader Glencore, the source said. The price of the cargoes were not immediately available.

HPCL usually offers three or four cargoes of gasoline a year, depending on domestic supply and the inventory situation, one trader said.

The company last sold a similar cargo in September last year.
