Geometric Software Q3 net zooms by 254.27 pc

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) Geometric Software Solutions Company today reported a jump of 254.27 per cent in its net profit at Rs 8.29 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 2.34 crore during the same period a year ago.

The total income of the company during Q3FY07 increased to Rs 52.98 crore from Rs 31.84 crore during Q3FY06, a growth of 66 per cent, it said in a statement.

The group's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 10.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 3.93 crore during the corresponding period last year.

Total income attributable to the group increased from Rs 55.87 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 111.64 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
