Emirates, DHL join strategic air cargo partnership

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) Emirates Group Security and DHL Global Forwarding have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in strategic air cargo security partnership, a DHL global forwarding initiative.

As one of DHL's preferred air carriers, Emirates Airline is one of the first airline partners to join this programme.

The aim of this security partnership programme is to work together and to agree on standard operating procedures (SOP) for high-value and high-risk air cargo, to share best practices and information on crime trends and to partner in lobbying towards authorities.

Civil aviation authorities in Dubai have nominated Emirates Group Security as the only authorised security service provider at Dubai International Airport. All valuable cargo shipments entering or exiting Dubai Airport are securely handled by Emirates Group Security through its sister division Transguard.
