Elitecore bags order worth $ 1.2 mln from US

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) In a bid to expand in the US, Elitecore, makers of Cyberoam identity-based Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances, have received their first order worth 1.2 million dollars for 200 appliances from their North American Partner CCNY.

This order is an important milestone for Cyberoam to consolidate its position and make its presence felt in the internet security market of the US, the company said in a statement here today.

''We are delighted to receive this order and fully dedicate it to meeting our partner's expectations. Our partnership with CCNY is a step in the right direction, enhancing Cyberoam's presence in the US,'' Mr Greg Caravello, Vice-President Sales, Cyberoam, said.

Cyberoam plans to undertake a host of promotional and marketing initiatives to consolidate its foothold in the US market in addition to partner incentives and customer promotions, he added.

Participation in leading security and educational events are on the cards, apart from advertising campaigns. Direct mailers and partner road shows are other options that Cyberoam is looking at to secure its position in the US market, the company stated.

Cyberoam protects enterprises from internet threats, including spyware, phishing, pharming, viruses, worms, trojans and more.
