Cong hails offer to POW relatives to visit Pak

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The Congress today applauded the offer made by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to the relatives of the missing Indian defence personnel, believed to be Prisnors of War there to visit that country to look for them.

"We applaud the initiative that will bring relief to the ordinary families and those who lanquished for decades in anonimity," Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said.

He said, "There is a human and person-to-person appeal to Indo-Pak relations which is crucial and cannot be forgotten in the give and take between the two countries." Mr Singhvi hoped that both the countries would carry forward the process of improving the bilateral relations in a meaningful manner and sort out all important issues.
