BSNL Accounts officer sent to jail

Patna, Jan 15 (UNI) A special CBI court today sent former assistant accounts officer of BSNL V Hansdak to jail in connection with cases ralated to forgery.

Earlier the CBI sleuths produced V Hansdak in the designated court of Radheshyam during the day. Later the court remanded him in judicial custody till January 21.

As per the charges, Mr Hansdak had embezzled lakhs of rupees of the BSNL on fake bills.

During raids, the CBI had recovered more that one crore rupee from the residence of Hansdak.
