Bitter cold in MP

Bhopal, Jan 15 (UNI) Bitterly cold conditions are being experienced in eastern and northern Madhya Pradesh where Rewa was the coldest location with the mercury plunging to 3 degrees Celsius.

Night temperature was 5 C at Satna while meteorological official Rajneesh Yadav said that the minimum was 4.6 at Umaria.

The state capital recorded a minimum of 8.8, a notch below normal.
