Four commit suicide in Davanagere district

Davanagere, Jan 14 (UNI) Four people, including a teen aged boy, committed suicide in different places in the district yesterday.

Police said that Mr Siddappa (35) committed suicide by hanging himself to the roof in his house at Doddabathi village as he was not given money for purchasing liquor.

Ms Jothamma (23), who was lonely for the past five years after her husband deserted her, committed suicide by consuming poison in Hallavagulu village in Harapanahalli taluk in the District.

Koti (15) of Kurki village and Thimappa (26) of Sasvehalli in Honnala taluk committed suicide as both could not withstand stomach ache they were suffering since long time.
