Former CM urges PCC President to convene meeting
Puducherry, Jan 14 (UNI) Former Puducherry Chief Minister S Ramaswami today urged PCC(I) President P Shanmugham to immediately convene the executive committee meeting of the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee to discuss several important issues.
In a letter to Mr Shanmugham, Mr Ramaswami said Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyer, while interacting with the elected local body representatives at Mannadipet, reportedly stated that a governance as per the norms of democracy was not going on in Puducherry and AICC General Secretary V Narayansami had commented on the continued provision of free rice to all ration card holders.
He said these issues besides other issues should be discussed soon.
