Drug peddler held, ganja seized

Tiruchirapally, Jan 14 (UNI) Police arrested a 24-year-old drug peddler and seized 1.25 kg of ganja at Ariyamangalam, here today.

The arrested person was identified as one Balaji.

Police said during routine patrol, he was found moving in a suspicious manner behind the Government Elementary School. When he was frisked, small sachets of ganja were seized from him.

They were meant for retail sale.

Investigation was on, police added.
