Date for programme to highlight Congress' achievement changed

Dehradun, Jan 14 (UNI) The state Congress' programme on Tuesday to highlight the ''achivements'' of Narayan Dutt Tiwari government, has been postponed to January 18.

Congress spokesperson Rajiv Jain today said the programme would be held jointly by District Blocks, City Congress Committees, area MLAs, District Panchayats, Nagar Palika Parishads and Nagar Panchayat Chairmen.

He said the achievements of the Congress Government, in its five year tenure, would be released.

All the Block, City, Ward and Nayaya Panchayat Congress Committee has been instructed to ensure all details are communicated to the people in their areas in five days, beginning from January 19, he said.

Predesh Congress Committee Chief Harish Rawat would also be present in one of the programmes scheduled to be held at Mazra, Mr Jain said.
