Cop shoots colleague; held

Lucknow, Jan 14 (UNI) A heated agruement between two Provincial Armed Constabulary personnel took an ugly turn in Aligarh when one of them shot the other with his service rifle this morning.

Police said here that Durgesh Yadav and Dinesh Yadav, posted with 43 Bn of PAC, entered into a heated exchange at Chhatri Nullah where they were deployed.

In a fit of rage, Durgesh shot at Dinesh with his service weapon, injuring him greviously.

While the injured policeman was rushed to hospital, the accused was arrested by the local police.
