BSF fires four rounds to disperse smugglers

Agartala, Jan 14 (UNI) The BSF personnel fired three to four rounds to disperse a group of Bangladeshi smugglers trying to enter India through Khowai sub-division.

A BSF official told UNI here today that a group of Bangladeshi miscreants with contraband goods were trying to enter the country by crossing Khowai river.

The BSF jawans fired three to four rounds on the smugglers.

However, they managed to flee to Bangladesh.

The BSF jawans later recovered three cartoons of spare parts of vehicles and tractors, the official said.
