14 absentee officials suspended in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended its 14 officials for being absent from duty, an official spokesman said today.
He said Social Welfare Minister Haji Nissar Ali during a surprise visit to the Child Development Project Office at Batwara here yesterday found the Child Development Project Officer, the Assistant Child Development Project Officer and two senior assistants absent from duty.
He issued on-the-spot instructions to Director, Social Welfare, Dilshad Khan to place the absentee officials under suspension.
To ensure punctuality and regularity of officials in various departments, the spokesman said Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag G A Peer inspected various government offices yesterday.
During check, seven officials of the Primary Health Centre, Larmganjipora and three officials of the Sub-Centre Khrew were found unauthorisedly absent and placed under suspension, he added.
