Vajpayee calls on Nanaji Deshmukh
New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today called on RSS stalwart and founder of Deendayal Research Institute (DRI) Nanaji Deshmukh to inquire about his health this evening.
Mr Vajpayee was with Mr Deshmukh, a former Rajya Sabha member, for about 30 minutes inquiring about his activities of the nonagenarian leader who brought innovations in rural development through DRI.
Noted Supreme Court lawyer Dr N M Ghatate and DRI Organising Secretary Abhay Mahajan were present during Mr Vajpayee's visit.
Mr Deshmukh had undergone angioplasty in October last and was put on pacemaker.
