Vadodara court regt complaint on Mallika Sherawat

Vadodara, Jan 13: Baroda Bar Association (BBA) president NarendraTiwari has registered a complaint in a city court against actressMallika Sherawat for performing a vulgar dance during a new year eveprogramme in a Mumbai hotel.

Alleging that the programme staged at J W Marriot Hotel on thenight of December 31, 2006, was an ''obscene and ugly act'', Mr Tiwarihas pleaded action against the actress and the Hotel owner undersection 8 of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, and section 244of IPC.

Judicial Magistrate (First Class) D B Vaidya, who heard thepetitioner yesterday, will take up the matter again on January 15 forissue of court summons on Mallika and the hotel owner.
