Seven people gets lifer in Kishanganj

Kishanganj, Jan 13 (UNI) Kishanganj Fast Track Court Additional District Judge(ADJ) Jhula Nand Jha awarded life imprisonment to seven persons, including a woman, for poisoning one Md Kalu of village Alamnagar under Belwa in Kishanganj to death on July 29 last year.

The public prosecutor(PP) said here today that a woman, Husna Ara, hatched the conspiracy to kill her spouse Md Kalu and abetted her parents, Md Rashim and Mushima Khatoon, and four others.

The PP said Md Kalu was poisoned to death. They were all convicted under 302 and 328 of IPC. While they were given lifer under section 302, they were given ten years' rigorous imprisonment under section 328 IPC.
