Road blockade over exam postponement

Shajapur(MP), Jan 13 (UNI) Agitated over abrupt postponement of examinations to select Patwaris across Madhya Pradesh, about 200 candidates resorted to road blockade for half an hour here today.

The candidates lifted the blockade after senior officials intervened. They came to know about the postponement only on reaching the examination hall.

Patwari(Revenue official) examination was postponed abruptly and the state government informed the district authorities through fax last night. ''The postponement was made due to unavoidable reasons'', the fax message said.
