Prime accused in arms smuggling case surrenders

Thrissur, Kerala, Jan 13 (UNI) Prime accused in the arms smuggling case in Kochi R O Koya today surrendered before the customs officials here.

Mr Koya was taken to Kochi for further investigation in the case relating to the clandestine import of 49 air guns and 37 air pistols from Dubai through Kochi port.

The consignment came in the name of Mr Koya, but he was found missing after the arms were seized.
