Arrested ultra subjected to narco analysis test

Bangalore, Jan 13 (UNI) Pakistan-trained Kashmiri militant Imran alias Bilal Ahmed Kota, who was arrested by the State police in the city last week with a huge cache of arms and ammunition, was today subjected to Narco Analysis Test at a Government Hospital here.

The police brought Imran to the Bowring Hospital amidst tight security and subjected him to the test for more than three hours to ascertain the veracity of the information he had provided to the police during interrogation.

The test veered around the alleged procurement of arms and ammunition, subversive plans of the terrorists and their network, police sources said.

Apart from Karnataka, police personnel from Gujarat, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir have grilled Imran and were yet to get any crucial information from him. However, Imran had confessed to his visit to Pakistan and his links with terrorist organisations operating from the neighbouring country.

Forensic Science Laboratory Director Dr Mohan and senior police officers were present during the Narco Analysis Test, the sources said.
