Woman party worker of MNS arrested
Pune, Jan 11 (UNI) A local court today remanded a woman party worker of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to police custody for allegedly demanding a ransom of Rs ten lakh from a city builder to meet election expenses.
Following a tip-off from builder Vishwanath Tapkir, the police laid a trap and arrested Vidya Joshi alongwith her associate late last night. In his complaint, Tapkir stated that Joshi repeatdly called him demanding the ransom amount, the added police.
