Two arrested for carrying banned items

Tirupati, Jan 11 (UNI) Two persons were arrested for carrying banned items, by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Vigilance department at the foothill to Tirumala yesterday.

Talking to UNI here today TTD Vigilance Officer Sudhakar said the two, hailing from Orissa, were carrying two bags containing cigerattes, beedies, gutkha bandles and dry fish covered with cloth.

They were identified as Dilip (30) and Dhana (45).
