TDP activists stage dharna to Sub-collectors office
Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 11 (UNI) About 1,000 Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activists today staged dharna to Sub-Collector's office here demanding that the government should assign pattas to the poor and downtrodden people.
Earlier the activists came in a procession from the TDP office raising slogans against state government.
The leaders speaking on the occasion demanded that the government should regulate price hike and solve power problem.
Later they submitted a memorandum detailing their demands to Sub-Collector K Sasidhar and to the Municipal Commissioner Ch Nagaraja Rao before disbursing.
