SC Panel Member visits VSP

Visakhapatnam, Jan 11: The National Commission for Scheduled Castes Member V Devendar today visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) and interacted with officials on the measures initiated for the welfare of scheduled caste in the plant.

He held discussions with senior officials including VSP Directors P K Bishnoi, K A Naidu, Executive Director A K Benerjee and General Manager (Personnel) P C Das.

Later, Mr Devendar visited various production units in the plant.

He complimented the management for taking initiative to conduct elections to the SC,ST Employees Welfare Association peacefully.
