Raj Travels announces tie up with Gray Line

Bangalore, Jan 11 (UNI) India's leading outbound tour operator Raj Travels today announced a tie up with the world's largest sight seeing company Gray Line to provide impeccable tour arrangements to foreign tourists.

Disclosing this to newspersons here, Raj Travels Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Sheth said it was for the first time in the 90 years history of Gray Line that a single operator from any country had been given sole operational responsibility for conducting tours. Visiting tourists would be offered an authentic local experience without compromising on quality, he assured.

He said that initially the tours would be conducted in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Agra, Chennai, Cochin, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mysore, Mamallapuram and Pune and would be extended to 23 tourist attractions later.

In Bangalore, the sight seeing would be offered in three categories -- morning, afternoon and full day. He was also toying with the idea of having arrangement with the scion of Mysore royal family Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar for providing dinner to tourists in future. The highlights of a typical tour comprised travel in a super luxury coach, adherence to international quality standards, highly trained tour guides and consistency of daily departures.

Gray Line President and Chief Executive Officer Brad Weber, who was also present, said Gray Line, which operated in over 200 countries, would be launching Gray Line India Holidays soon, which ensured guaranteed fixed departure holiday packages operated by Raj Travels within India. Travellers in India could now experience the wonders of the country in comfort and security through the tie-up.
