Narayanan in Moscow to finalise Putin-Manmohan summit agenda

Moscow, Jan 11 (UNI) Visiting National Security Adviser M K Narayanan is conducting parleys with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov and Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov to give final touches to the agenda of summit between President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi later this month.

A number of agreements are expected to be signed during the regular annual India-Russia summit. During his three-day visit to India, Mr Putin will participate in the Republic Day parade as a chief guest of honour.

Energy security, defence, space cooperation, bilateral trade and economic issues and urgent global problems, including international terrorism, are expected to be high on the agenda of the summit between the two leaders.
